W H Uffington is a historian, specialising in ancient history. Once freed from the constraints of academic life he studied comparative religion, in particular the pagan beliefs of Teutonic and Celtic people. He started to write a novel but found the background research so shockingly profound that he has spent the last nine years collating it into this book. What he discovered meant the factual premise for his novel was untrue, so if ever he writes it now, it must be a very different story.

Raised in Germany, he has lived and worked in many countries. Wherever he found himself, he discovered that his home was close to
a remnant of the Druids — as the book will tell you there are even stone circles in the Middle East. The mathematical precision with which these neolithic edifices were constructed, their purpose and their meaning, cannot be explained by superstitious belief. Religion and worship are contemporary inventions of man, which so far have caused more problems than they have ever solved. What WH Uffington reveals in this book is why the superstitions came to be believed, the truth that they are hiding and what we must each do now to bring the truth of God into our lives. Respect, tolerance and understanding can start when you discard the lie.
